Benjamin Peterson
Director Permitting
Benjamin Peterson is an experienced environmental permitting and land management professional with over 17 years of expertise supporting environmental projects across the western United States. Mr. Peterson has held progressively senior leadership roles focused on permitting strategy, regulatory compliance, and environmental risk mitigation as a consultant and at advanced-stage development companies. Most recently, he served as Manager of Permitting and Environment for Integra Resources and, prior to that, he was Manager of Permitting, Lands, and Sustainability at Millennial Precious Metals, where he oversaw permitting and land programs across a portfolio of exploration-stage gold projects in Nevada, Idaho and Arizona. Throughout his career, he has directed baseline environmental programs, coordinated state and federal permitting, and contributed to mine design alternatives through early-stage risk assessment and integration of environmental considerations. Mr. Peterson's technical expertise spans federal and state permitting, U.S. mining law, NEPA compliance, water resource investigations, stakeholder engagement, GIS, and drone-based environmental assessments. He holds a B.S in Geology and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Mr. Peterson's is a Licensed Professional Geologist and a Licensed Drone Pilot.
